Symposium on ‘Companies in China to resolve business disputes through arbitration’

Presenting a Guide from Establishing a Company in China to Settlement of Business Disputes

The American Arbitration Association International Dispute Settlement Center (AAA / ICDR) Korea Advisory Committee (Chairman Kim Hong-seok) announced on the 22nd that it will hold a symposium on international business disputes with the International Arbitration Advisory Group (IAAG) at the Korean Cultural Center in Shanghai , China.

The event, sponsored by Shanghai’s Korean Consulate General, is prepared to provide guidelines to resolve various disputes experienced by businesses trying to expand business into China or already doing business there.

Korean Consul General Han Suk-hee, Consul General of Commerce; Chung Kyung-rok, Representative Michael Lee of AAA / ICDR Asia; and Yanizao, General Director of Domestic Disputes at the International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission of China (CIETAC) will attend the event.

“Through this symposium, Korean companies doing business in China will be able to resolve issues in the fastest and easiest way in the event of a conflict,” said Chairman Kim Hong-seok. “We expect Korean companies can get the practical help from this opportunity.”

The AAA / ICDR Korea Advisory Committee, is a non-profit organization established in March 2014 to educate businesses on international disputes and to develop effective dispute resolution measures.
